Areas of special interests: philosophy of European culture, European culture heritage, antique tradition vs. contemporary times, language communication vs. symbolic representation, philosophical-cultural background of European culture, problem of "mass" and "high" culture.
Section of Philosophy of Culture cooperates with programmes: Ariane (the European Community programme which supports literature and its creators); Aristeoin (programme which supports literary translations); Euridice (programme connected with education and culture).
